As our Social Media Manager, you will be the voice of our brand, bridging the gap between our physical stores and our vibrant online community.
In this mid-level role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to produce high-impact content, manage influencer partnerships, and execute paid social campaigns. Your daily focus will be on driving engagement, increasing brand awareness, and ultimately converting online followers into loyal in-store and e-commerce customers.

What you'll do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with retail sales cycles and brand goals.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, and written) across all social platforms.
- Monitor and respond to community comments and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
- Plan and manage the social media budget, including spend on boosted posts and dark ads.
- Identify and collaborate with local influencers and brand ambassadors to expand reach.
- Analyze weekly and monthly performance metrics to optimize future campaigns and report ROI.
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure online content reflects in-store availability.
- Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes and emerging technology (e.g., AI in social media).
- Oversee the social media content calendar to ensure a consistent and strategic posting schedule.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis within the Tanzanian and regional retail sectors.
